You are warmly welcome to join our international webinar “Equally Yours – Towards Equal Cities Through SDGs” on May 26th.
Equality is among priority themes of City of Tampere’s international activities. It is also a main theme in Tampere’s bid to become the European Capital of Culture in 2026.
In this webinar, we invite you to learn about the UN Sustainable Development Goals, SDG’s 5 (gender equality) and 10 (reducing inequalities) in particular, and their implementation into city strategies. We will also take a closer look at different perspectives on equality: How can we perceive equality as individuals? What is equality in the context of global partnerships?
Webinar takes place on Wednesday 26th of May, 14:00-16:15 (EET). The language of the event is English. Event is hosted by Katja Pantzar.
