Discover the history of the Old City Hall on a guided tour - sign up now

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the establishment of Tampere City Council. To celebrate, the City of Tampere is offering free guided tours of the historic Tampere Old City Hall.

The tours, led by Tampere Tourist Guides, will give you an insight into the history of the Neo-Renaissance building, completed in 1890, and the many stories behind it. The tours are conducted in Finnish, but you can ask questions in English during the tour. 

You can sign up for the tour by clicking on the Eventila link at the end of this news item. There is a capacity of 25 people and places will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that studded shoes are not allowed in the Old City Hall.
